| Weston Price Approach in a Type 1 pregnancy
Hey all - my husband and I are trying to conceive and I have recently discovered the Weston A Price Foundation (WAPF) and the nutritional advice it gives. I'm a definitive believer and have already made dietary changes (including coconut oil, soaking grains etc.)
Was wondering if there was anyone else here who was the same? What are your thoughts on taking Cod Liver Oil. From everything I've read it seems like it would a need-to-have not a nice-to-have for me because of the diabetes and hypothyroidism I have, both of which make it impossible for my body to convert the beta carotene form of Vitamin A found in foods to usable Vit A for my body.
Would love to hear other people's thoughts and outcomes. |
