      Pregnancy with microalbumin

Hi all. I recently had a urinanalysis done that showed I have microalbumin in my urine (36 - normal range was 0-17). My A1c was 6.7 - which is a little high for me. I have had diabetes for 26 years so far with no real complications. I have one healthy 9 month son but want to have another child. I have a dr's appointment in a week or so, but am curious if anyone has experiance with have a child if your leaking microalbumin. Do they recommend not getting pregnant or taking any special drugs?
I am kinda freaking out about it.....
