I always take my novorapid shot after eating. I used to take it before but the one time I was really really ill and simply could not eat, which resulted in a nsaty hypo and lots of glucose tabs...and me feeling even sicker.

But I do eat rather fast lol, so its not like there's much catching up to be done.

I was told that Novorapid can be taken up to 15 minutes after eating so I take it straight after eating as well. Given my HbA1C of 5.8% (may be even less by now) I must be doing someting right. I've tested myself 30 mins after eating and not been that much different to a couple of non diabetics who asked to be tested at the same time.
