I only have found one site that has the novopen 4 and the new thinner needles here: http://www.hermedico.nl/nl/index.htm?prod=3019
I painstakingly translated my way through, and appearently they will call me back, and at no point asked for payment.
Does anyone know where I can buy one of these? No pharmacies near me have it, nor can even order it. I also don't think it's in the US yet.

Worse comes to worse I guess you could send me the cash and I could buy it and send it to you if there's no other way. I wouldn't mind but it is certainly a pain cause I think they hold things in customs for up to 6 weeks. Anyways, if I can help let me know. If not then I hope you can find you stateside soon.

Can you post (or email) me the number to the pharmacy you got it at? I'll try ordering it via phone. How do you like it compared to the Novopen 3? It looks like there is a thinner gauged needle available for it too. Thank you sooo much for your help!! |

-Not sure about the smaller needles... are they the "6"? or is that the length? I'd like a thinner needle....
-I find there is less resistance when you use the plunger, caused me to question if I actually injected or not the first few times!
-the lock feature doesn't make a lot of sense to me, just handling the pen seems to cause it to unlock some times... I guess if you have it loose in your pocket though chances are that the lock would engage, so maybe it's good, tough call.
-comes in a softcase which I don't really like, I prefer the hardcase from the 3.
-It does look more like a real pen than the 3, so it's more descrete.

I would be interested to know whether you found a source dor the NovoPen 4 - I have been using the Novo Nordisk Innovo for 7 or 8 years but it has been withdrawn, and the '4' is not available in UK |

You can do this with the Nova 3 pen also. If you have dialled up to many units, just hold the base of the pen with one hand, and lift the centre section (which holds the insulin cartridge) with the other hand, then press down on a table top and the pen returns to zero without wasting any insulin.

| | Novofine 6 is 32G, and that makes it the thinnest penneedle on the market, as far as i know... I'm using Novofine 8mm (30G) though... I'm not afraid of the needles  Could use the 12mm (which is 28G) without feeling faintish, but they're too long to keep on the pens...
You should be able to get Novopen4... Just ask Novonordisk if you can't find them in a pharmacy... I'd be surprised if USA don't have the NP4
