I've heard that Johnny Cash had type 2 diabetes and that he was very angry about the problems he was having with the disease. I wonder if he didn't take care of himself like he should have.

Say you'll share with
me one
love, one lifetime . . .
Lead me, save me
from my solitude . . .

Say you want me
with you ,
here beside you . . .
Anywhere you go
let me go to . . .
Christine,
that's all I ask of . . .

Shine on, you crazy diamond...

I have also read that Johnny Cash struggled with his diabetes. I wonder if B.B. King actually takes care of himself & checks his BG regularly, or if he just cashes the checks he gets from Lifescan and forgets about it, like so mnay others.

I would have thought Wilford would have lost some weight, but I guess he enjoys those checks from Liberty. He's been advertising for them ever since I was a kid -- I remember seeing his ads on sick days when I stayed home and watched TV during the Price is Right.

You have to remember both theses men used and abused drugs for many yrs, this was well documented.
I suspect this alone hastened their deaths more than anything else.
