OK...as we know, Eri is in summer school...I picked her up today, and when she hobbled over to the car, she said, umm, mom, I think my toe is broke. I said why, of course. Well, there was a fire drill and this boy shoved her up the stairs...and she jammed it. UGH!
So, we go to her endo, her dad and her sister and I are part of this study to see if we carry the antibody for diabetes...so we each had 2 vials of blood drawn while there and Eri was looked over. They are pleased w/ the progress she is making, her carb counting and this (new to us) doc wants her on the pump!!! Eri asked herself

So, she looked at Eri's foot and said to take her to the pediatrician. Then she checked out her thumb(she broke a lightbulb in her hand while putting it in the fish tank or her gecko's thing)...and she said I did a great job of making sure it was cleaned and sealed, etc(yea!)....so, we get her A1c results in about 10 days...and our results from the bloodwork soon as well.
Anyway, from there I had to drag her dad to his doc appt(he HATES going)...and from there, I had to get Eri to her pediatrician. She see's Eri's foot and sends us right over for an xray...sure enough, it comes back as broken and has to be aligned. Lovely. So, we will hear from the doc's tomorrow on when and where to take her to whatever orthopeadic doctor to have her toe fixed(I know you can't do much for toes), but they want it to set right.
Needless to say, she is not a happy camper right now...but, she's dealing with it.
Her new endo is AWESOME!!! We really like her
So, w/ all that babble, that's about it. (Lord only knows if I made any sense, I had to go to work after all that and close tonight and it was HOT in there!)
Aside from the broken toe, she is doing a lot better w/ her bg's and we're looking forward to getting her A1c.(I have a feeling it will be higher b/c of the stress and things that went on last month).
I'll update when we find out

Have a good one !!!
