Thumbs up

Very good results. It is obvious that you are doing all the right things. Keep up the good work.

Maya-papaya --Cute name! Reminds me of my friends Anna-Banana, Ellen-Melon, and Lina-Bean-a. My friends have to tolerate my silly rhymey food nicknames. It sounds as if you are off to a good start. I think it was a good idea to get your doctor to prescribe a glucometer. Monitoring my blood glucose is the most motivating thing! It motivates me when BG are good and it motivates me when they are not so good. Nonetheless, sometimes I have slipped into periods of not testing. Turns out those were the times I slipped in other ways, too. So I am sworn to test, test, test! It really helps me to choose to eat right and to exercise.

I will test 2-3 times in a row when the result seems out of kilter.
