| | | Happiness!! This morning my fasting BS was 135!! An I mean I still got a ways to go but i was soooo happy with that!!
And then tonight, we didn't really have anything to eat much....I can't go shoppin' for more healthy foods until after august 1st when we have more money and so anyhoo....after a meal of spagetti...bout a cup sized serving....
are you ready for this?
I had to test three times just to be sure hehe
sure you're ready?
Better sit down heh
131!!
Wow!! I'm really impressed with myself, and I wonder if being out in the sun walking alot and playing with my dog for an hour this afternoon maybe had somethin to do with that ...and still I'm super happy, its the lowest number I've seen yet so it was a very encouraging one! Even if it's still not quite perfect or anythin.
I'm sure y'all are so tired of hearin me brag so I'll be quiet now hehe

| | | Good for you! I do better with either thin spaghetti or angel hair pasta then I do with Ziti pasta for some reason. I'm happy your blood sugars are coming down! |

| | | Yep, actually it was angel hair pasta, because that's the kind that we like best, so I think it might be slightly better maybe....also we tried to include more meat and less noodles last night.
This mornings Fasting BS=124! Going dowwwwwn!! ~grins~

| | That's impressive Maya, you are definitely doing better than my husband...he's taking real baby steps getting his diabetes under control. He's not even really testing, since his doctor told him he didn't have to... What an idiot! |

| | | I would go nuts!!
My doctor didn't say I had to test either, so I begged him to prescribe strips and meter for me anyhow, because I wanted to know what was going on with me, i wanted to be in control! I can't imagine NOT taking advantage of something that can only help me!
Then again I'm a bit of an obsessive control freak so it helps me to know little bits of info like this hehe
