Now that I've followed the link and looked at the info, yes, I've read parts of this book while browsing at B&N.
For me, it was too close to the Atkin's diet. For you, it might work. If you feel/think/believe that it's worth it, give it a try. Just remember, he constantly points out how carefully you've got to monitor all your health signs---it seemed like too much work for me. My last A1c was 5.2 and as long as I'm able to control it the way I do now, I'll stick with my path.
Like I say,though, if it appeals to you, give it a try.
