8 weeks. Count 'em. 1--2--3--4--5--6--7--8 weeks I got out of my last bottle of Lantus. On the last day of the 8th week, the Lantus was starting to become less clear, I compared it to the unopened bottle I had. Granted, my a.m. b/s reading had gone from low 90s/5s to 103-105/5.6-5.8 for four days but I got four extra weeks out of my last bottle.

The second thing is I wasn't on the road any time during that period, so, my bottle had stayed in the Frig and not been subjected to much change in temperature.

Well, you're lucky then. I find my b/s's start creeping up after I've been using a vial for 30 days. Seriously, though, you really shoudn't use the stuff if it's not crystal clear.

Yeah, I know. That's why I keep very close watch over morning B/G after 28 days

If mine starts to rise after 30 days, I adjust the # of units upward accordingly.
