Hello Laura!

I've had 3 diabetic pregnancies but I'm T2... so perhaps it will be somewhat different for you? My guess is that you will have to plan ahead, and go see your doc before you get pregnant.

The third pregnancy was harder. But any mother who has 2 children already (when I had my 3rd, my daughter was only 17 months old) will probably tell you the same... diabetic or not! - My kids are healthy, and they didn't have problems at birth.

Here is an interesting link for you. It's about pregnancy when you're either T1 or T2. A must read I guess.
