ScienceDaily: Common Cause Of Heart Disease, Diabetes May Be Treatable With Malaria Drug

This is really something to watch. Chloroquine is a known drug and pretty safe apparently, plus the effective doses seem to be quite low. They are starting human trials already, because it is already approved for other uses.

I hadn't known about the link between diabetes and inflammatory diseases either. OTOH, it seems like diabetes is linked to everything sometimes.
