| | | Guess I should see the doc... OK...this is happening more and more frequently now.
I started feeling weird about an hour ago...then started w/ the shakes about 30 minutes ago...ate a chocolate chip granola bar and a pb sandwich...tested and was just now 59. My hands were shaking like mad...
So...even though I have been through all this w/Eri, ok, I've felt sick the past week or so(like nauseated a lot)...dizzy spells a lot, irritable, tired, etc...but they are all lows(granted, I don't check my bgl's often)...so, I could stay just hypoglycemic and not end up getting diabetes, right?
I'm just a big mind blank right now. I still feel shakey(I have to keep going back and fixing my typo's)...and I feel as though I could go for some major chocolate fix(but don't have any in the house...dangit)
Wonder if maybe it is just the stress of Eri being so not right lately and everything else?
geesh...I'm going to shut up...I tend to ramble(just in case you haven't noticed)

| | | I would see a doc, to be certain. My aunt was dx'ed with hypoglocemia over 30 years ago...she hasn't developed diabetes to date. I have no clue how they treat it now. Back then they told her to eat protien 6 times a day. I was was a child at the time, I remember lots of chicken legs!
With everything you've got going on, make sure you're really eating enough, and often enough, you know? |

| | | The fact that you went to 148 after the last low, suggests to me that you may be in some sort of pre-diabetes state. Hope I'm wrong, but hypoglycemia is the pits too. |

| | | Ugh...didin't get to the doc for me today...the hub's 40th and was on w/ Eri's endo for a while and then her nutritionist and CDE.
It happened again this morning. I woke up feeling like I was hit in the head w/ a sledge hammer...and was all shakey...everyone told me I looked white as a sheet. Oh well...I'm just still dizzy now, but I think MAYBE just catching something. Who knows?
I'll go to the walkin tomorrow...

| | | I also think you need to get checked out... I was hypoglycemic before I was dx'ed with diabetes. It's definitely not a fun way to feel and, at the time, I didn't really understand it. Now I realize that things should have been more thoroughly checked out... but hindsight i always 20/20/
Anyway, I'd go as soon as you can... it will put your mind at ease to know what the story is.
Keep us posted.
