Rice and potatoes!

My Red Hat group had a birthday dinner for me at Tmbleweeds last night. I had Tilapia fish (sp?) on rice and a plain baked sweet potato...it was all yummy, and I ate every bite. I sort of expected to have a high from it but I used 10 units of Novolog, hoping it was enough. I was 106 before I ate, 276.... 3 hours later, but was down to 118 at bedtime. I woke at 4:30, cold, my legs were aching, and I was itching all over and was 68. I am hoping to go back to sleep, but was worried about going low, so ate a little cheese and a cracker, and took 2 aspirin. The itching and achy legs are Ok now, and almost an hour later I am 80.
Not to bad for a supper of rice and a potato.
