again...

OK...me again(sorry!)...
I've been feeling a bit off again today. I don't know, maybe the stress of this morning when I realized I didn't wake up in the middle of the night a couple times to check Eri's bg's (I last tested her around 1am)and when I walked into her room to test b/f 7, she was jerking and twitching. I immediately took her bg and it was 194. What the heck? So, she started laughing this weird, maniacal laugh, and was like she was in another world. She kept walking in circles downstairs(saying she was running her 2 miles), eating some cheezits and kept calling me "Quackers"...I asked if she saw Elle almost ready(for school) and she asked me who Elle was. Then, she decided she was making deviled eggs. I retested her and she was 150, by no means a seizure at this point, BUT, she used to act all weird like that AFTER a seizure. I feel like a horrid, terrible person b/c I didn't get up to test in the middle of the night. She has been sleeping all day after she had her deviled egg, and she's pale. I did tell her CDE about this, but she said to talk to the endo's about it on Tuesday.

Anyhow, about an hour or so ago, I felt weird again. I grabbed something to eat(ok, a s'mores poptart)...and tested my sugar in a bit and I was at 63. Then I had a cup of mashed potato's...still shaking like a leaf but keeping busy...I called my doc and see them tomorrow at 8:45 a.m.(thank God for Saturday appointments!).

OK...now I have to finish getting ready for work. I don't even know how long I'll last there, but it's a Friday night and busy. At least I have a LOT of carbs on hand if I need them(ugh). I have to try and get Eri to get dressed so she and her bro and sis can go to my dads while I'm at work until their dad gets out of work.

Fun.

OMG! I'm so sorry you both have to go through that. Is there anyway her endo would consider a CGMS to see what is happening at night? It sounds like she may have recovered from a terrible low.

Thanks all

Yeah, I'm going to ask about that CGMS on Tuesday. She slept ALL day and even kept falling asleep while I drove them up to my dads, sitting straight up. Then she was miserable. She's finally showing some colour now and is, hmm, normal?(Eri normal? A child of MINE?)lol.
It really freaked me out...and the guilt I am feeling now for not waking up....UGH.

As for me, I guess I will wait. I've had a pounding headache...since that happened w/ me. Still driving me crazy, but at least I see the doc tomorrow morning!

Thanks

I go for the glucose fasting test(3 hour) on Wednesday morning @ 8. I guess she made it the 3 hour b/c of my "borderline" gestational diabetes w/ all 3 pregnancies b/c the lab person was like...no, this is odd, we normally only do 2 hour testing...oh well. Three hours of just being able to read whatever I want w/o kids bothering me!
I also have to schedule a sleep apnea test(I so loathe hospitals...ugh!)...
...and I found out today that my left ear canal is too small and crimped and bent...lovely. lol...it explains the pop where I can't hear from it every so often. If the one med doesn't work, off to an ENT...possible tube in that ear...ewww, another hospital thingy.
At least I got all that over with...well, the beginning anyway. Now to just get the testing over with!
