| | How many hours of sleep do you get a night? I'm lucky to get 4 hours of sleep a night. Most of the time I sleep 2 to 4 hours and then wake-up and stay awake for 5 hours before getting tried again and sleeping another 5 or more hours. I don't know if it's all the drugs I take which are 8pills a day or just having diabetes?
Thanks, Rob |

| | | Well, it's after 2am here and I'm on these forums. I get up, i.e. I actually get OUT of bed, at 8:00am. I usually end up going to bed sometime after 3am, and waking up around 7:00ish and staying in bed, hitting the snooze alarm a few times before actually getting up. 4 hours is average for me.
And then I fall asleep on the bus going to and coming home from work (45-60 minute ride, depending on traffic). I have to fight napping on the bus if my friend isn't riding at the same time, to wake me up!

Isn't is strange how, as children we hated going to bed, but as you get older you can't wait to go to bed lol.

| | | I usually sleep about 6 hours a night. I go to bed early and wake up really early. However, I only keep office hours M-Th and usually take naps on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I love naps... I'd almost say it's a hobby to me! |

| | | I try really hard to get 7-8 hrs of sleep each night. I sleep better now that my blood sugars have normalized...I was tired all the time before, but kept waking up to go to the bathroom or with my heart pounding. |

| | | Umm...from zero to 12?
About one night a week I don't sleep at all.
Other weeknights 4-7 hours.
Weekends 10-12.
I couldn't figure out how to answer in the poll.

| | | This is a tough one for me to answer, so I didn't. I sleep fitfully. If I take a melatonin or Excedrin PM, I can sleep for about 7 hours. If I don't I sleep in 15 minute intervals. I attempt sleep for about 8 hours. |

| | | I generally get about 6-7 hours a night... usually about 6.5 on average. I think I could use more- I find that sleep definitely influences how I feel (among other things). I'd do better on 8!
