Mine is one of those stretchy rubberband things like a livestrong bracelet but its black and it says diabetic. Its the only one I've ever had that doesn't look like an old lady bracelet or drive me nuts!

I got my first tat when I was in my 50s!!! It was a sign of freedom of being controlled for years. My second tat was even later. Yes, I was/am in a profession so they are concealed except in my swimsuit but you are right...it was a fuddy man who told me I could NOT get one...haha
Have a 4 leaf clover on upper thigh and a 3 leaf with butterfly landing on it on left breast.....and every day it reminds me it was MY choice and feels great...if live to be 90 I'll still be happy
