There is actually a lot of information available regarding this as it is a highly studied effect. Alzheimer's and other mental ailments may actually be caused in part due to this type of condition.

| | | On the 5th Bernstein CD, he talks about how 2 aspsects of diabetes is highly studied. This is one of the 2 things. I did a search on Google using some of the key words and found tons of information.
