| | | Still new at this HI.. I am still quite new at this, I was diagnosed January 14, 2006. I had gone to the doctor with severe back pain and after going through a couple of tests the nurse came to my room and said that the doctor wanted to do a BG test because there was sugar in my urine. Having had Gestational diabetes, I figured I knew what was coming. My reading that night was 18.7 (a little on the high side). a few days later all was confirmed and I started on meds. I am now up to 3 metformin (500mg) a day, 1 diamicron, plus crestor for high cholestoral, 81 mg daily dose aspirin and I was diagnosed a montha ago with depression so now I am on meds for that as well. Really need to have a place to vent and talk with others in the same situation. |
