Wierd Day

Kinda venting here......

I had two sausage links and a slice of toast for breakfast. At around 10:30 I ate. Around one I had some cheese and crackers. I started with the most terrible headache. I started to feel awful. I checked my BS and it was 50. Well.... my FBS is usually like 110. So 50 is pretty low. So I drank 1/2 of a can of coke. I checked my sugar 10 minutes later. It was 62. I figured it would go up more... I went ahead and ate 1/2 of a baked potato. 60 minutes later my BS was 230! Umm... I have never seen it that high since on meds. My head still hurt. I ended up in the bathroom sick. An hour later my BS was down to 142. I took some tylenol. The headache has subsided. Still sick to my stomach. I have no idea what is going on with me today. I had my lowest low and my highest high since being diagnosed and on meds. I just feel crappy. UUGGHHHHH And to think I was thinking I had this thing under control. So much for that little bit of confidence I was getting.

You may want to start carrying glucose tabs with you. They can help treat the lows without the undesired bg spikes and roller coaster effect.

Where do I get glucose tabs at? I appreciate the suggestion. I had a bowl of soup for dinner and my BS was 80 after eating. Still had that pounding headache. I hope tomorrow is a better day. I have no idea whats going on with me. Thanks again for your reply.
