wrong test strips

I usually use Accu-Chek comfort curve strips but yesterday I was out and needed a refill. Had to wait till today to get my prescription filled and get 150 strips. So instead of waiting till today I went to Wallmart and bought some strips for my One Touch Fast Take monitor. Instead of asking if these strips will work I bought strips for one touch ultra. Come to find out they don’t work with my monitor. I had to call Lifescan and they will send me new test strips. Talk about being stressed out. I thought I was out of 40 something dollars. Has this happened to anyone else or am I the only "special" one here?

I've done it a few times, usually whenh in a hurry. These companies make so many different strips and many of them are not compatible with other meters they make. It's kind of a strange thing and can be really frustrating.

Say you'll share with
me one
love, one lifetime . . .
Lead me, save me
from my solitude . . .

Say you want me
with you ,
here beside you . . .
Anywhere you go
let me go to . . .
Christine,
that's all I ask of . . .

It has also happened to me a few times, that the pharmasist has given me the wrong ones, and they dispense these things all the time, so don't worry about it.
