| | | At what bg level do you feel best???? ya know the dr. says between 80 and 120 is best but at what BG level do you FEEL the best? I just tested and I'm at 70 right now and I feel really really good. Alot of times I'll test and feel real good when I'm around 80 or so (or I guess 70 right now), but when I get up to around 100, I feel a little tired or just not as good... it's weird... like right now, I said to myself before I tested "I bet I'm around 80 or so" since I feel so good, low and behold I'm 70, what people would consider "low." What are y'alls thoughts on this?..... I usually don't "feel" low until I'm in the very low 60's... |

| | | I'm T2, and don't feel any difference unless I'm under 70....or over 150. If i'm under 70, I feel jittery, anxious...over 150, I feel really tired. When first diagnosed, 100 made me feel low, so I guess a lot of it is what your body recognizes as "normal."

| | | its hard to say really, my feel-good level varies from day to day ~ havent quite sussed out why.
mostly its around 5.0 to 6.0 (90 to 108), some days i can be 4.5 (81) and feel really good, other days i feel hypo at 4.5.
anything over 8 (144) and i'm tired, hungry and cranky!
doesnt make any sense. |

| | | It depends...on what I don't know, but it depends. I've had days when I felt absolutely terrible at 70, and I've functioned normally and felt great at 60. I personally prefer to stay within 80-120...
The thing I've found about anything at or below 70 is that there are so many variables involved that seem to play a major role in how good I feel. If it's a sudden drop, I don't feel too great. If I got there at a more normal pace, I'm good.
If it is in the mood to sit and stay there for a while, I feel great. If it's wanting to keep heading down, I don't.
Like I said, it really just depends.

| | Not sure. I still get angry, depressed, sometimes I laugh, even get drunk at every number...now if you really mean "feel" then the truth is I only ever "feel" anything when I'm 3.5ish or lower, otherwise nothing.
Now, what I want is to stay a cool 5.2 all day long, for the rest of my life (which will only be 41 yrs old)

| | | 70-85 is the best for me, and I really don't feel low until I dip under 65.
I can't take the doctor....130-150 pre meal, 180 2 hours after....what are they talking about....?
I test my family to see, and often they are in the mid to upper 60's and rarely above 90.

| | | Mine is between 80-100... higher and I get a little sluggish and if it dips below 70, I get a screaming headache and feel dizzy. But as long as I keep it between 80-100, I am perfect. SOMETIMES I can get as high as 110 and feel ok, but not often.. any higher and my eyes start getting blurry and I feel like I am going to pass out.

| | | I know something isn't right at over 120, and at 70. I don't feel bad at either number, I am just starting to feel it. I think I start feeling bad at 130 or 65.

| | | I feel ok at anything up to 200....why do some feel a high when they are at 120? Because they were high for so long? Because they rarely go that high? Thing is that isn't that high.

| | | I may be odd but ... I feel best - in terms of feeling like activity - around 150. Below 60, and I rapidly get the shakes. Below 50, and I'm in danger. Below 40 and I'm on the floor, totally helpless.
