News story for men

Hm... here's one connection I wouldn't have guessed...

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...rt_erectile_dc

I guess the moral is, that would be a good hint to be scanned for heart issues...

Hmmm....while some could HARDly connect the two, it would seem that both issues may have something to do with the ability of the blood to effectively circulating throughout the body (including all the extremities).

Stimulating article, Ashy! Thanks!!

Interesting article, but god, it's really not pleasant seeing so many sentences containing the words 'diabetes' and 'erectile dysfunction'. Talk about a real downer...

I think a better screen is a microalbumin on random urine specimens. Doctors are now starting to use MAB's as a
screening process for cardiac disease in any pt. doesn't have to
just have diabetes to have this test done. I found that interesting.

Asked my doc if I should be checked any further for heart issues
because of my age and number of yrs. I've had diabetes and he explained that it wasn't necessary at this time. Didn' t want to have anybody going into vessels that there wasn't a need for them too. Leave well enough alone and wait he said.
