A1c

say if you A1C has been high how long will it take to drop if you have had really good sugar levels

Your A1c is an average of the past few month so if your sugar is good this week, your A1C has gone down. It will take a few months of good numbers to get a good A1C. A good A1C is not good if it means you are spiking and going low a lot

A1c is basically an average of the prior three months - however it is a highly weighted measurement with the most recent time period having the greatest influence. I would think getting an A1c more often than every other month would be a waste.

From my experience, A1c numbers can change drastically in three months time. Mine was 11.4 at diagnoses and 5.3 three months later.
