A1C Happy

I got a 6.0! I knew I was under 7, but I got a 6!!!!! Down from 7.1, but I got a 6.0! If you only knew how hard I have been working! Now I am going to go have a pizza to celebrate! OK, maybe a piece of pizza.

Great job, I just got mine back and was expecting good things but it was a 7.5 Any advise on how you lowered it.

I was determined to get it under 7...would have been happy with 6.9. Honestly I think testing more did it. I test at least 6times a day....less, and I didn't treat highs before they started. It also helped me determine which foods caused spikes, and even some that seem to help keep my numbers low. Eating nuts or avocado are a couple that seem to work for me. But since I am being honest, I have had to use more Novolog and increase my Lantus. I did not bring up a pump this time, but if I keep my A1C down, I intend to next time, I know there will be a hassle with insurance and I just am not ready to deal with it.
