Finally got my A1C results

I got tested on 8-1-07. Didn't receive the results in the mail as promised. So I called today to ask about them.


6.1

down from 14+ in May at DX

Im going to schedule my next appt in November and see if its changed.

T2, diagnosed 8/31/06.
Byetta 5 mcg
HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets


Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (right after dealing with shingles and bronchitis)

I've been feeling great. Thanks for all the kudos. I have a feeling that it may have been lower if I had waited a bit longer before having the labs as i was DX mid through May. I

Now if I could put the books im reading down at a decent hour I might actually get some sleep.
