| | | Gerrr My doctor's office called today with test results. I asked them what my blood sugar was. The lady (who I like a lot, she's on top of things and easy to reach) tells me not to worry about it,I'm too young to have to worry about diabetes.
*sigh*
The good news is that the lab said I was 83 and my Ultrasmart said 78, so I'm satisfied with it's accuracy. |

Why, oh why, do I find this so hysterically funny??? I'm really sorry that she's such a ditz though. It must be hard to be so clueless!

| | | I wonder what age, in her opinion, is the magical age to start worrying about it?

| | | Yes, I've already been diagnosed.
I don't know her personally, she's a medical assistant at my doctor's office. She's really nice and on top of things, I just thought that was funny. |

| | | That is funny, My first pregnancy, ok , I was at a high risk obgyn right meaning I was high risk with something right.
I was 22 weeks along and the nurse says to me time for your glucose tolerance test..to see if I have gestational diabetes...UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
ok smarty pants on hormones over here, goes so why do you think I am high risk? She looks at me, and is like i don't know why? I say because I am a type 1 diabetic....she still looks at me and then goes ohhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
OMG....
