Angry Early morning lows on Lantus

Hi, me again. Does anyone have any thoughts on changes to ask MD about since waking with 52 on Monday and 57 today at around 6 AM? I don't usually wake till 7:30 but have awakened with palpitations and uneasiness. After checking and finding low, I drank 1/2c OJ and went back to bed. By breakfast at 8:30 they were 74-80. I am wondering if a split dose of the Lantus or AM dosing would work better. The premeals seem good. The post meals will be dealt with at a later date. I hope this post is easier to read than my last one. Must be the lows-------------! Thanks
PS-I hate lows, they make me real CRANKY

Some of us do drop at night with Lantus...but otherwise have good pre-meal numbers. Be sure to eat a snack at bedtime with carbs...this helps me wake up around 90-115 in the mornings.
