| | | Over half full or close to half empty???? Or Vice Versa I had my 3 month check today. My doctor discussed my heart test results. He said I had two veins with "about" 40% blockage. That was only 2 of my veins, the others were good. That means I am more than 60% clear, right? He seemed pleased with the test and said my heart does not sound weak anymore. I am thinking the glass is more than half full. He also complimented me on my Diabetes control, which made me feel good. It is like all my hard work is recognized by someone who knows what he is talking about. I went in worrying that my A1C would not be as good as last time. He told me compared to most of his patients, I was doing really good. I do work hard at it, but because I stay overweight, some people, including one of my other doctors, think I must be eating things I shouldn't. I have said it before, I really like my doctor, I am one of the lucky ones to get such a good one.

| | | Certainly sounds way more than half full. No talk of bypass surgery, no diabetes complaints, I'd plan on some sugar-free jello tonight WITH a little whipped cream!
Good job,
Mike

| | | Congrats, Penny, that sounds like good news to me too!
And it nice for a doc to recognize the hard work you've done. I mean they all should do that, but as we know, they don't always. Sometimes that little bit of appreciation is very validating.

| | | Congratulations, certainly sounds like the glass is more than half full, I agree having a doctor you like makes things so much better.
Keep up the good work, it's not always easy but it's worth it when you have visits like yours.
