Hi Joel, I am so very sorry to hear that you've been sick and in the hospital! As far as I know, I've never had pancreatitis, and from what everyone describes, I'm sure I don't want it either!

Please be sure that YOU are satisfied with what your doctor prescribes and if not ... find another!

Current Meds - Janumet 50/1000 2x daily

Yes!!! I am sorry about the title! I wanted too change it but i could not (too late).

I meant to say "have i reached the end of my pancreas producing enough insulin". i,e, "end of honeymoon".

But that is not the way it came out. Maybe a nice moderator can make the change...

early Dec 2007: 5.9%
early Jun 2008: 6.4% (after my pancreatitis!)

triglycerides: 71 (0.8)
HDL chol: 50 (1.2)
LDL chol: 15 (0.4)

Diamicron MR 30mg 1 or 2 per day

Thanks Lulika and everyone. Seeing the physician in 1.5 hours. kinda nervous. i always am.

blood sugar was 234 this morning. argghhhhhh...........
