There are several good lotions out there to try. My dermatologist recommends Eucerin cream for really dry and flaky skin. I'm currently using the Jergen's with Shea Butter, but also I really like Aveeno lotion as well. Suave is a less expensive brand that still works well.

When i get dry skin, i use body butter after shower For hands my favourite is Elisabeth Arden 8h cream (use it every night) and i use the 8h cream for my feet sometimes too. But every once in a while i use a foot cream especially fit for diabetic feet

Goats milk soap is a good solution to this for me. Canus brand is available many places, including Amazon.com (w/ free shipping).

Very dry, itchy skin is one of those symptoms that can get much, much better once you get good control of your blood glucose levels. So do find what lotion, cream, or oil seems most effective to you, but work hard on getting the glucose levels down. Also consider lowering the temperature of your bath or shower, not staying in the bath or shower as long, and switching to sponge-baths for some days instead of full immersion.

Do remember the more you drink the less dry your skin will be!

I find the Burt's bees products are the best for my skin. They actually stay on longer and have no man made chemicals. They are based on believe it or not beeswax, Now you would never thought that from the name would you?

Last year when I had my sun spots burnt off, the doctor advised me to use Vitamin E cream .
I love it & the best part is that there's no perfume in it.
A tub, larger then a cup was less then $3
