please help me raise money for diabetes uk!

HI everyone

at some point this week I am supposed to be doing a relay swim across the english channel to raise funds for diabetes UK. so far I have got to about £1000 but would love to make more for this charity so close to our hearts. If you would like to sponsor me or learn more about the event, my webpage is:

Justgiving - Guttfield swims the Channel!

and the official swimsite for the event is Home

and another little article about the event is

Woman To Swim English Channel (from Bucks Free Press)

I would really really appreciate anyone's support

Liz

Hi Liz
Well done you for doing a cross-channel swim brrrrrrrr!
Hope it goes ok.

I have just given quite a large donation to some drivers who are raising money for Diabetes UK by doing "2008 German leg of the WRC" but I am so impressed with what you are going to do I will donate a little bit more.
I look forward to hearing how you all get on.

Jean

Good luck, I just hope the weather improves. Its not very warm here at the moment and I read that ferries were cancelled yesterday

Its a small world the Bucks Free Press used to be one of my local papers before I moved here.

I lived in Chesham, for about 15 years. OH was in the RAF and kept going back to High Wycombe so it was a good place for me to stay put in the same job and good secondary schooling for the children.
