| Test strip recall --Lifescan OneTouch Ultra
Letter in the mail in a pink envelope today:
Johnson & Johnson Lifescan is recalling a "very limited quantity" of 25-count packages of strips "that could produce inaccurately low blood glucose test results."
Look on your packages of 25 strips for this lot number 2829235.
To get them replaced call 1 (866)-247-1281. They will explain how to send the bad ones back to them. (I had a strip issue once and they sent me a postage paid mailer.) Thye will send new ones to you.
They emphasize that no other strips are recalled except the 25 pack of the given lot number.
I'm surprised I did not hear of this in the news or here on the forum. With things like this I've always heard first from media sources rather than first from the maker. |
