Anybody selling test strips?

I was wondering if anybody had some extra test strips they are willing to sell. I use the OneTouch Ultra and recently bought the ReliOn meter which seems to work well. I can pay thru Paypal also. I don't have insurance and my job does not offer until after 1 year. PM me if you'd like. Thank you and God Bless.

The test strips for your ReliOn meter are available at Wal-Mart for $20. (for a box of 50). Without insurance, that's about the lowest price around for buying strips, especially if you're ok with the meter.

Hope that helps some.

Yes, that's the cheapest strips I could find. I looked into some of the Patient Assistance programs and I could find none that help with test strips, only insulin and thyroid medication. I test 8-10 times a day too. I guess I have to stop testing so much. I have a pretty good A1c as well.

I know that Precision Xtra and also Accu-chek both offer patient assistance programs for those who can't afford the strips. You have to tell them you need assistance, I think. I'll bet One Touch offers the same thing. Most have a fairly generous allowable income limit.

A phone call will get you set up. Just google for their 800 numbers.

Up here One Touch strips are $85 for a box of 100. With the best coverage, patient will still pay $17 a box. Even if someone were to fanagle it at $0.00 profit, w/ shipping, it'd still be over $20 a box.

I'd say get the Relion ones, and find a way to get insurance.

It may have a seemingly steep monthly fee, but if you can swing it, you save thousands over the course of a year.
