Diabetes management software

Seeing the thread on the merits of the Ultra Smart got me thinking - I use my Ultra purely to take readings and that's it. I'd like to do more but frankly I get severely turned off by the software which looks like it dates from 1995. Does anyone know if there's any good management software out there that can interact with the Ultra Smart, or better yet, any software for Windows Mobile? I've got a tasty little Samsung Omnia that is rapidly becoming the second most treasured thing in my life.

I don't know the answer, but just wanted to chime in that if you think the Onetouch software is bad then you'd laugh your head off at the 1988 stuff that comes with the Animas pumps. EZ Manager looks dated to say the least...

So far I've seen Diabetes Pilot, which looks quite good on the iPhone version but it looks like they've made absolutely no effort at all with the WM edition. Surely it's not exactly much effort to skin up the WM version a bit more?

I have to agree....

I have to agree the software is lacking.... It could use a serious upgrade.

Some where on a post someone was thinking about creating a software program that would interface with it but I have not seen anything more about it.

I would love to see something new... I have also offered to help Beta test his design once he ready to test it... so far no reply.

Have a good morning!

Maybe we should all petition the ADA to fund such applications. It would benefit us all and maybe something usefull will actually come from them.

Anyone who is interested, and knows how to use FTP servers, I have OneTouch® Diabetes Management Software v.2.3.2(I ripped the CD after I received it) on my server. It is a single 140MB file which can be burned on a CDR using IMGBurn, which is totally free, small and fast, and is in the same folder as the OneTouch software.

Or you can simply Google "IMGBurn" and grab from their site. Totally free, very small, very efficient, beautifully coded and the best software you will ever use for creating DVDs and CDs. Forget the bloated commercial burning software out there. (Yes I do brag about the software I love. ).

My servers are up 24/7 so there is no time limit to get it.

Drop me a PM if interested and for the my server login details.

I want to help as many people as I am able to when and where possible.

thats nice of you. people may not have to do anything more than launch it after download. so it may be worth a try.
I thought you could just download a free update. You use to be able to so I think that still works. you'll need a cable of course to be able to download your meter
