    No strips meter

Today I recieved my accu-chek mobile meter, from Boots chemist. It is really fantastic and has some great programmes. It does 50 tests from each cartridge, but no strips to dispose of. Thumbs up from me.

That sounds awesome! Strips are certainly the bane of my existence. I do wonder about the cost, how much they charge for the tape vs. the strips. I googled the meter and have to say, it looks pretty cool.

There is no information about that meter on the US website.
I wonder when it's being released in the US.

I think it's different. This holds 50 strips, the Compact only holds 17. The Compact has a Softclix, this has a Multiclix.

We may never get it. Accu-chek has an extremely small market share here compared to Europe. Lifescan pretty much has a monopoly here.

It will probably arrive in Canada soon. Just keep your eye on Accu-Chek.ca . Americans could pop across the border to buy one.

    Ok, that is nice..!

I like the idea of a no strip handling meter, but the compact plus takes too much blood compared to other meters. This thing only takes 0.3uL, same as my BD.
