NeoCritin?

When you guys have a cold, do you bare through the "not recommended for diabetes" and drink it? I have once in the past when I had a really bad cold, my mom let me have half a package cuz she didn't want me to have too much sugar...but i'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. I've got a cold now, and my bloodsugar was 22 at breakfast about an hour ago..and I really want something for my throat but i'm not sure if I should take the chance of staying high all day..and my mom isn't here so I can't ask what she thinks...

i've never used neocitrin before so i can't say. but if sugar is the main concern for diabetics then i'd go for it and just bolus appropriately. an alternative might be to just take an ibuprofen (to quote my mum "pain is pain") and have some tea with lemon.
