Favorite Diet Drink

Diet Coke is the one I make sure I have on hand, although I like diet Mtn. Dew (that is not Mtn. Dewey!), diet Cherry Coke and Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper.

Of course, being southern, I also love iced tea ... thank the powers that be for Splenda!

Club soda with a splash of lime juice here.....since it's almost impossible to get soft drinks with splenda in them and I'm super sensitive to aspertame.

Pepsi Max - it tastes much better than diet Pepsi and still doesn't have any sugar in it.

I like diet pepsi or iced tea. Which brings on a question--I heard caffeine was bad for diabetics. I have only recently started drinking any caffeinated drink. I love water but it gives me a little feeling of freedom (not to mention variety) to drink tea or diet Pepsi. I could go on about that but will leave it at that.
Is caffeine BAD for people with diabetes? Or am I just bad?

And there is a good chance that tea helps prevent cancer and maybe other things.

nah, researchers say that the tea most Americans drink has been processed to the point of removing any such possible benefits. But it still beats carbonation!

LOL, Ed!! Hmmm, so if you don't like Diet Mtn. Dewey, how do ya like me? (jk) You know I'm evil-minded and had to get ya on that one! I like Diet Coke, too. I usually only drink it at the movies, though, as I "ODed" on it one time and got wayyy sick! I now usually drink bottled water, iced tea, or often, coffee....
