A1C contest prize test

I received my A1C prize for the slogan contest, yesterday. I did the test this morning and it was 6.3! This is very good as I was at almost 10, six months ago. I have only been counting carbs seriously for the last 6 months, so it must be working. I see my doctor on January 6, can't wait to compare the results.

Good job, Penny!! You will be my motivation. My A1C was 9.1. I have started the write everything down thing. I can offer all kinds of excuses and that would be just what they are. Along with the high A1C there is the achy and numby feet and legs, the fatigue, the high cholesterole and the low self esteem. (I swear I see more wrinkles, too.) So if I know this will happen, why do I sucumb to the holiday cheer?

I can do it!! Penny does it!!

I guess with a result like that it was worth the wait for 'snail mail'?

Congratulations!
