the risk of transferring a virus from animals to humans

Cin, great point. I've really been looking forward to the production of this:

I hope it takes off and works, but that article you cite raises some great points about xenotransplantation that shouldn't be over looked. I wonder how this will fold out in the US, and other countries. Looks like New Zealand is setting the pace.
