Times testing your blood sugar

Honestly How many times do you check your blood sugar??

Before I got my pump I would just test the week before I went in.
Now I at least check at breakfast and dinner.
Or when I don't feel right.
So I'd say 2-3 times a day

It really varies with me. Usually it is between 3-6 but at times I can be testing happy and do it 20 times in one day.

8 to 10 times a day for me, sometimes more (I'm a new pumper).

I haven't really counted but I suspect the past few days it's been even more tho

I test between 4-6 times each day, I am one of those people who shoot up and down several times a day so am always feeiling wierd. Fastings are ok but evening sugars are high and afternoon sugars are low. Think I need to move dinner to lunch or split my lantus.

Right now about 5 times a day, but another goal for the new year for me is to test about 10 times a day. I also plan on doing the fasting plan to get my basal rate set perfect on my pump and then try to figure out my carb and correction ratios to perfection. Right now I'm on the "Give insulin, test sometime later, if needed, correct" method.

I test between 8-10 times a day on average but if driving will test before getting behind the wheel.
I have the added bonus of Addison's disease so have to test more often than would normally be needed.

I shoot for 8-10 times a day. Some days it's more, some it's less but NEVER less than 6.

Usually 3-6 times a day. Some days I'll test a lot more, some days I won't test at all.

I normally test my 6 times a day, once in a while 5 if I'm busy.
If I don't feel right 7-8 occasionally, more if I'm sick with a fever(always
raises my sugars)which thankfully hasn't happened in some time.

Sadly I think that may be what I'm having right now. My sugars are everywhere no matter what I try. I can run 300 one minute, give 4 units of insulin (to drop me supposedly 140 mg/dl) and then be running 50 mg/dl 30 minutes later. Not too mention my nose is stuffed up, I can't sleep, and I'm at work, lol.

Oh you poor Lad, you should be at home in bed. I don't suppose
you carry a thermometer with ya?? Hope ya feel better real soon.
With mine the extra Insulin doesn't drop my sugars, it just barely brings
me to normal when I have a fever and that's with eating not much.

Oh no! Not another bug going around! I just got over one, but have family here from California and they are all sniffling and sneezing. I got up this morning, doing the same and at 229. And I was good yesterday! We are going to Columbus (Ohio) today for another "Christmas", and I am sure we are carrying this bug up there, too.
