I have so many graphs and reports to add it's not even funny. My insulin to BGL one will be out soon. It will have all the reports diabetics want. |

| | By insulin-to-BGL graph, maybe I'm thinking too much, but what does that mean in your design? Are you plotting insulin along with the BGL graph? (I'm asking because I'm looking for attributes that might be of interest in a time event series).
I wish I could show you my Liveabetes system -- but you'd be annoyed because you'd have to plug in several days' worth of data to get anything visual from it, and if not that, you'd be annoyed with the random times when it's running.
Ah, here! Attached is an example graph that I'm doing on my school work. Just wanted to share it here -- perhaps discussion about it could help with design ideas. |

| | | Very nice Jason!! What control are you using to plot your graph? I was planning on putting in a page that resembles that image a lot. The logo is very nice too.
I have a bunch of dynamic reports in mind, specifically around averaging, times of day, and all the other variables that are being captured right now. |

| | Hi Brian,
I'm using a product called ChartDirector (for PHP) from an ISV. They also have very similar versions for Java and VB.Net. You can google them for a copy (the demo just pastes a small yellow message at the corner of each image). At first, it seemed a bit clunky to use, but after following the examples in the documentation, and using their forum, it really made sense.
After you see some of the graph examples on their site, you might drool a bit. The developer license is the least costly (less than one credit hour of school ).
The logo came out of a demoware program specific for creating logos -- I think it had a name like "3D Logo" (but not too sure on that). It was a demo, long since uninstalled, and so I just took a screenshot and fixed it down to a smaller size, and now I'm not able to think of the name. If you want to check into it more, let me know and I'll look on an old computer and see if I still have the original install file.
------------
I read on the other thread about problems with the database port being probed. (Hmm, sounds dirty). Can that port be closed to the world, so that the web server is the only address that can reach it? (Or change the port number to a non-standard port that is less frequently probed by port scanners?) My school changed its SSH ports to from 22, but they didn't tell me, so I thought they disconnected their computers all summer -- they said they did it to discourage probes. |

| | | I use dotnetcharting. It's the best graphing software I have ever used and I have used many, many java, .NET, and C+ graphing controls. The control is priced right and the documentation and support have been just incredible.
As for the probing - Yes I probably should change the port. Funny you should mention it as it was going to be the first thing I was going to do to fix the crashes, but since it was unrelated I haven't thought about it. I should probably change my unix boxes SSH ports too. While no one will guess my DB user name, root is already available for the probes. |

May I ask why you don't use the diagrid anymore Stu? Is there any funcitonality you want or need? Just curious. I was excited to see you and Simon using it, besides me . The detailed entry page is having a huuuuge haul over right now.
Also everytime I click to look at your blood sugars it gives me this:

| | Hopefully not to far
I am waiting for Shane to work his magic on it, but don't want to pressure anyone helping with the site. Including myself lol. Everyone that has helped, including you, I am sure has pretty hectic schedules and fitting in more work can be awfully challenging. I was working on the Ultra today and accidently erased all my meter data!! I tell myself to "not hit DMZ" so much, I did it and wiped it clear. I have another ultra though that i'll bring in tomorrow that's filled. |
