I didn't know if this was inappropriate but I don't know who else to ask!! | It could be several things, diabetes included. I had something of a reduction, and some pretty pronounced ED, before DX. Both are better, but neither is totally back to "normal" (after 14 months in "the 5% club"). It's not the end of the world, particularly for a single person, but I'd like to take care of those eventually...

| | | well i've had this problem before I got diagnosed for so that was most of the past year and it hasn't really changed since diagnosis. My numbers have been ok, not bad enough to think that they would effect that. In the low to high hundreds most of the time.
It's just horrible though!!!!! GRRRR I have a friend with the opposite problem (but it's not a problem for her lol) how I wish she could rub off on me ...=D

Don't dispair, diabetes can play tricks on your desires... however, it's not the only thing it can play tricks on. Has your Endo tested you for thyroid function? A thyroid that is playing games with you can also be a cause of libido changes. In men, diabetes can cause ED, and thyroid issues can cause long term libido issues (lack of sex drive). It may be something to look into.
Regards,
