ready to switch doctors or clinics

I am so frustrated right now. In February, my main doctor moved and is no longer at the clinic. I think he could barely understand me and my needs, and it was hard to get prescriptions when I needed them. So, a few weeks ago, I went to see the other doctor and he was booked solid after taking a 2 week vacation. Therefore, I had to see the Nurse Practictioner.

I have had more problems in the past few weeks with the nurse practicioner. First off, it took her one week to sign the papers for the prescription assistance on my insulin. So last week when I ran out of insulin, she was not there. Another nurse did give me some samples, but only enough to last me until yesterday morning. Today, my RX assistance was still not there and the NP was STILL NOT THERE! She had taken a 2 week vacation. Luckily, I still got 2 more flexpens to last me until next week (or until Friday from what the other nurse said.) I guess I was lucky on that part.

My other problem was that my yearly prescription for Actoplus Met on RX Assistance was cut in half. She wrote me a prescription for the medicine only one time a day (180 tablets for 1/2 a year). Anyways, I am supposed to take it twice a day. I should have looked it over myself, but I was in a hurry and now I only have half enough for the year.

So today, I got an appointment for the "other" doctor. Hopefully, he can amend things that are needing amendment like the 1/2 prescription for the Actoplus and fix things. If it's not fixed, I'll switch to another doctor's clinic. My dad has good luck with this doctor except for when he was NOT on Medicare and some nurse gave away his insulin from RX assistance....but they gathered enough samples to equal his 3 month supply of Levemir and Apidra.

update: Come to find out, the nurse gave me the wrong prescription AGAIN. I go to pick up my insulin today as it was in and guess what: WRONG INSULIN! I go by the prescription assistance office and the nurse wrote my prescription for Novolog instead of the NovoLog Mix 70/30. So I got to make my appointment (I have to make an emergency appointment on Monday evening) as I will be out of 70/30 on Sunday night. Not only that, but they gave away my boxes of pens. I talked to a pharmacist at Sam's Club and they told me that my order was the 30% which makes it really bad.
