Why don't you try a sliced apple with peanut butter. I know it sounds gross but it's really good. It takes care of the sweet and salty cravings

This morning I was at 164lbs. I've lost 1lb since last Friday.

If I get hungry before bed I will usually have a s/f jello and some almonds. Usually I just need something to take the edge off and help me fall asleep. I try to keep it low carb and under 100 calories.

How long have you been doing 100 calories? Is it crazy hard?

Its not bad. I eat dinner at about 7:30pm and I usually go to bed at around 10pm. Once I go to sleep I am out the entire night. I never wake up in the middle of the night hungry. The problem I am having right now is that my bs drops into the 50s-60s before bed. Most of the time I am not really hungry and I have to force myself to have something otherwise my bs goes up during the night. That is why I try to keep it to 100 calories.

Last night I had to have a little bit more. I had some jello, berries, and peanut butter (I know it doesn't go together but usually I will find whatever is available). Before bed my bs was at 52 and I was feeling it.

I thought the cashew was kinda bland (and I ADORE cashews!), but I have not seen the hazelnut-almond yet. I WILL be looking for it, now!

hey guys mind if I join in?

My story is slightly different. I have ALWAYS been underweight (think 5 ft 6 in and 114 pounds.)
Very long story short,
I now weigh 139. I know this is "healthy weight". But for me I feel different and uncomfortable, and I FEEL overweight.

So I would like to get back to around 125. (about 15 pds). This would still be normal for my height. (just the thin side of normal, not the chubby side of normal).

I find it really really hard to know what to do. Yes, eat right and exercise, but I haven't ever had to do this before, and I want to nip it in the bud before I am 40 years old, potentially heavier, and say "I've been trying to lose it forever"...

Here's an example:
I went out to eat last night for a friends B-day, and I was "good" and had a burger without the bun, a side salad with ranch and a Jack and coke to drink....
I was devastated when I came home and found out I had OVER 1000 calories and 70 grams of fat. HOW is that even possible??

I feel like I don't know what the healthy low carb choices are... I get WAY too much fat and sodium.

So, I would LOVE some support on this front!

Unhappy

Sorry i wasnt on for a couple days.. i did wanna cry when i woke up on Friday because i was back up to 192. I've been swimming with my niece last couple days in the Wal Mart pool we bought, tried to do leg exercises and swim fast in a circle like the athletes, and i felt like i was moving some muscles so hopefully it will show later.

I have a question tho.. Has anyone realized they get gas if their weight fluctuates that quickly from day to day.

I am so badly wanting to stop my Humalog but keep my Lantus so that i wont go to high, at least to lose some lbs, UGH!

Whenever i stop it, i lose back down to 180 at most, i just wish when i start it again it wouldnt come back on so quick.

Weekends are no good

Went up 6 lbs since Friday. That's discouraging.

When I look back, I don't think it was any one thing that I ate. Just a few odds and ends, they all added up. Need to cut those out.

Weekdays are a little easier--I pack my lunch for work, and that's what I get. No temptations in the cupboard or fridge...
