I brown bag to work with some type of salad with oil and vinegar dressing, my meat course(home made meatballs, chicken, roast beef, or a pork chop, etc) and nuts for dessert. Flavored seltzer water to wash it down.

I usually have a sandwich on wheat bread, and then some kind of fruit. (I tend to go for apples and bananas.) I sometimes will have a salad or other vegetables with it, though, like baby carrots or something.

Usually my lunch consist of a salad (15g) with a handful of walnuts and some dried cranberries. If I take a sandwich, it's either turkey or ham (20g) on light wheat bread.

1.5 cups of salad with fresh spinach, red cabbage, grape tomatoes, green peppers, carrot, Lima beans, chickpeas, broccoli, non-fat cottage cheese, sunflower seeds, feta cheese, fresh cracked black pepper, red wine vinegar and extra virgin olive oil for starters. Then I had 1.5 cups French Moroccan Tomato Lentil soup and 20 ounces of water with 1 Tbsp muscadine grape skin powder.

Today i have the good fortune to be able to work at home.

so i just whipped up a batch of "Cream of Brocolli Soup 2" from this fabulous PDF file - which is a great low carb cookbook.

these are all simple, "man friendly" recipes!

the soup is FAB!!!

Tea-biscuit today. Funny that it takes 5 units to cover something that's half the size of the palm of my hand! Oh well - it was buttery and raisiney and delicious!
