Alright, a progress report. Started diet on March 24th, went on vacation to Walt Disney World for a week this month and misbehaved a little on my diet while I was there; but, I honestly think all the walking made up for some. I say this because after weighing myself this morning I am down 9.75 lbs!! I am very happy with myself. Other than the extra walking I have not significantly increased my exercise, but cutting the lunches to half their previous amounts seems to be very effective for me.

Byetta 5 mcg
HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Low carb dieter, taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets

Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (right after dealing with shingles and bronchitis)

Metformin 500mg twice daily
Enap 5mg

Initial A1c (14th Dec07): 11.6%
15th Jan'08: 9%
3rd March'08 6.8%
6th June'08 6.1%
