I got my @$$ kicked today...

So I joined 24 Hr. Fitness a couple weeks ago. I, unfortunately, got sick with whatever epidemic flu/cold/cr@p is going around Seattle last week, so I hadn't been back since joining. I made an appointment with a personal trainer and that was today.

I started with 25 minutes on the recumbent bike, then we did core and upper body stuff for an hour. My arms feel like jell-o and I came out of the workout with a bg of 74 (started at 97). I'm glad that they're building a new gym right next door because the shower-heads leave something to be desired!

I'm going to eat lunch now.

WOW.... don't know if I would have lasted that whole time! Good for you! I really would like to go somewhere with a trainer to help me out .... just don't want to pay for it!

GOOD JOB!

Man I remember when I started exercising again. You may have gotten your @zz kicked today but tomorrow boy that's when It really hurts! Keep with it though and in no time you'll start to feel the results and going to the gym wont hurt so much.

Congrats on getting back to it Keezheekoni!
