| My first trial walk Hello all, in the interest of starting something for exercise I decided to try and walk before work in the morning. I did a test walk yesterday after dinner to both see how it effects my BG levels and to get a feel for the time it takes.
So I ended up walking 2.2 miles in 30 minutes, with none of it flat and most of it uphill on a slight incline.
So time wise it will work out for me, although I went right after dinner when I got back my BG was at 70 and falling, so I pop a glucose tab and had a 1/4 of baked beans and felt much better.
So what should I do about my levels regarding walking? I do not really like being that low as I don't want my body to get used to it and then not recognize it. On the other hand I don't want to get to high either. |
