Only you know your health but proper clothing, and layering can shield you from dangers.
BUT we have more than our share of rain and I have a Stamina Brand Air Bike I use when it rains or I go to our local civic center and do the treadmill although I always prefer to walk outside. The AirBike is right in my living room and I don't care if Ms. Manners likes that or not or anyone else of higher social esteem. I know many hate to put exercise equipment in their well ordered homes, but I got over it and so did my better half. She rides it as well now.
Many local community centers have workout areas and do not advertise them. I am not willing to pay for the high cost of exercise clubs, but I pay $100 a year for my whole family to use our local civic center gym, which has 5 treadmills, 4 lifecycles, and various nautilus equipment. Call your local government and see if they have anything like this as they might and just don't advertise it like ours.
Good Luck and STAY WARM!

as for states backing there team thats to be expected..
| Nope, not really. I live in Ks., when I have to be here, and they don't know what football is, kinda like the East Coast. I mean, Harvard ?and Yale ?and Bucknell ? Kansas? Nebraska? Missouri ? Miami? PuhLease They'd all get killed if they had to play in the SEC. BTW, the reason the Vols are where they are is because they don't have to play in the SEC West, they're in the SEC East with the Wimpy, Run and Gun Girlies (j/k Bel) <<<<<Back on Topic>>>>>
As for the winter exercise, johnnylol , Bel and the others are right.
Yes I am anEnglkish teacher, but I'm also a second generation coach as well. I can tell you that the just spending time outside in the winter causes you to use more calories and exercising in the cool/cold weather is good for you if you protect yourself from the Rats.
You don't get sick from cold weather, you get sick from germs and viruses.
